Kitty Sablu was born from a desire to create something beautiful — a lifestyle collection that pairs contemporary elegance with lasting quality. While the design direction nods to heritage and history, these elements are woven in subtly, adding depth and meaning to a modern design direction.

Founded by Katharina Brøndmo, Kitty Sablu is the culmination of nearly 20 years in the high-end interiors industry. Katharina and her team have collaborated with leading brands from the US, Sweden, France, Spain — and especially Italy — developing deep expertise in luxury design and building brands for the Scandinavian market.

Having grown up in both California and Norway, Katharina wanted to create something that drew on these two worlds while leveraging her distinguished network of Italian designers and artisans. The result is a collection that blends Nordic clarity, Italian refinement, and West Coast ease.

To bring her vision to life, Katharina partnered with Wanda Jelmini and Edoardo Roda in Milan — two respected visionaries with decades of experience in the fashion and interiors world. Wanda, the niece of Rosita Missoni, spent much of her career as the lead designer of the homewares division at the iconic Milanese fashion house Missoni. Alongside Edoardo Roda, who served as CEO, the two were instrumental in shaping the creative direction and international success of Missoni Home until the company’s sale in 2018.

Together, the team behind Kitty Sablu combines creative vision, perspective, and an unrelenting dedication to design excellence — offering a lifestyle brand that speaks to beauty, quality, and cultural depth.
